Hemingboard: Synonyms,Rhymes,Puns in Your Keyboard App Reviews

A reasonably useful app but I hate that the button for Hemingboard replaces the microphone so I can no longer dictate when this app is active. Also, reading the warning in the system settings, it appears that these third party keyboards collect all the data you might type... so, if you happen to compose a letter with any sensitive info - like a bank account number or whatever - this app has collected that information. Way too intrusive for me!

Add force touch support and hold down letters for accents.

I really need auto correct on this app! Please add it! Other than that this app is amazing!!!

I instantly loved this app! improvements can be made with adding double space bar to insert period and the auto correction DEFINITELY needs work As far as the puns/synonyms/rhymes it worked better than I expected! AND it doesnt need full access? Wonderfully done!

it will be in a few months after the coders can smooth a few things out. the app should give me a little red line under words that are misspelled. i turn autocorrect off for a reason, and i want to see the little red line like does on the native keyboard. the keys appear a bit shifted, my hands are missing keystrokes & need to adapt. the screen does not automatically scroll up while the keyboard is present. for instance, while i type this review. the idea is great, and i love the natural appearance. i think it will be so much greater after a couple adjustments. keep up the great work!

Read their privacy policy, bought the app, then only after you install it do you get a warning (from Apple) the app can intercept and transmit what you type. Who to trust.

For someone who likes to explore words this app is fantastic. Probably the best third party keyboard I have :)

I like the concept. However for a person who is using multiple language keyboards, this app still have long way to go. While using the keyboard and wanted to change back to other keyboard, it will not let you choose. this keyboard will just force you to the next keyboard below the list. No pop up that let user choose other keyboard. hope they fixing it soon. Otherwise it’s a good keyboard to have.

Nice idea. When it works, its a "nice to have" Unfortunately thats not very often. Using even just the Apple apps (mail, messages, etc.) often leads to strange appearances and unusable screens which require switching away from Hemingboard to the standard keyboard. Also there is no voice to text on Hemingboard. One more app released without complete testing. Hopefully it will be fixed with all the testing that we users are doing for them. Otherwise it will end up on my growing unused app scrap heap.

I love this app, the rhymes and puns are great, but it doesnt work as smooth as the regular apple keyboard. it doesnt allow me to type as fast as i please.

- This keyboard definitely needs 3D touch to move the cursor and to highlight words. - Needs better word prediction/auto correct. - Enable the pop up keys on keyboard. - keyboard needs to be faster - I suggest keeping the price of the application between $1.99 and $2.99 and go high as $3.99 when the app has more a following. Once these changes are made I will definitely use this as my daily driver.

I have had it for a few days and see it being beneficial over the long run. Nice little resource to have when needed. I did however wish it also showed the definition. I feel like hat could just be one of the added lines.

Have you seen that Bradley Cooper movie, Limitless? Basically he gets his hands on some super-drug, NZT. Anyways, Im pretty sure the developers of Hemingboard have it. This app becomes exponentially more fast, sleek and capable with every update. Its the best investment Ive ever made.
