Hemingboard: Synonyms,Rhymes,Puns in Your Keyboard App Reviews

After entering a word, the Keyboard symbol does not appear. Tried rebooting system with no change. Disappointed.

Please keep adding relevant words to this project. I find the keyboard quite good. We would also benefit greatly from the 6S cursor functionality being added. Seems like a misstep without that. Love it other than those few Quibbles.

It is an incredible app! It was never so easy to compose a breathtaking account of this outstanding app. Just sample Hemingboard, and you will wish you owned it schooner, or was that sooner.

Its a great concept looking for a great execution. Instead of being a keyboard onto itself, Hemingboard wouldve been better served had it been an extension to an already well-engineered, established and existing keyboard like Fleksy (which, btw, supports add-ons/extensions). Another option is be an editing keyboard- where the emphasis is less on the actual writing but more on making it easier to edit an already written piece. While the keys should still exist, the emphasis is now on the easier movement of the cursor (think 3D Touch keyboard or Fleksy or Google Keyboard aka Gboard handles cursor) for quick and easy editing.

Ive had the Hemingboard for Mac and iPhone for a few hours now and I can say it is a tremendous fun for a curious or linguistically inclined person (btw, I love the apps name!:-) Dunno how to rate the merits (the functionality) because its my first alt keyboard and Im not generally good at writing on my phone (after all these years. Oh well.).

Freezing when start typing, and when you switch between keyboards. Moreover, the characters on keyboard are not aligned by center. Just look at native keyboard and compare.

the usual apple keyboard gives me a red line under words that are misspelled. i turn autocorrect off for a reason, and i want to see the little red line like does on the native keyboard. this isnt the only issue. the screen does not automatically scroll up while the keyboard is present & i write something long. the keys appear a bit shifted, my hands are missing keystrokes & need to adapt. lastly, i want the words i added to my phones autocorrect dictionary to work with this keyboard.

Keyboard is still rough around the edges preventing me from replacing it with the stock keyboard. It needs more polish, and its still missing accents. Its also missing a lot of the little details that make the stock keyboard really good. Its a good investment and definitely worth supporting the devs. They update the app frequently and it keeps on getting better. Some suggestions: -Vibrate on force touch -Fix dark mode -More languages -Emoji icon instead of globe (when there are no other keyboards)

This update fixed most of the problems with the original release, but Hemingboard still doesnt remember my auto-capitalization or autocorrect settings.

I wholly recommend this app.

Needs better improvements on autocorrect. Also it tends to switch back to the default keyboard by itself, which is very annoying. Another cool addition I believe all of us would enjoy, is a built in dictionary.

Im a big fan. This update seems to fix a lot of the issues I had with the original release.

Thanks for the massive update! The keyboard is much better. I just wish the typing speed was on par with Apples keyboard - as time progress itll get there. 3D Touch works perfectly!

Sometimes its very arduous and laborious to come up with animating vocabulary. This app does the work for me and I love the ease of using it. Its also phenomenal for the Mac. Give it a chance you be delighted that you did!
